The National Employment Agency in Bulgaria through its regional structure Veliko Tarnovo Labour office organized a labour market on the 12th of September 2017 in Interhotel Veliko Tarnovo.
During the event over 30 employers, offering about 250 vacancies, successfully met jobseekers. The announced vacant positions were in the light industry, construction, hotel, restaurant and tailoring industries.
The meeting was attended by the deputy district governor of Veliko Tarnovo Mrs. Iveta Kabakchieva, the Director of the Labor Office - Mr. Obreshko Nechev, Mrs. Deshka Mandikova - Representative of the Podkrepa Sindicate, Mr. Atanas Parushev - Municipal Councilor of Veliko Tarnovo, Mrs. Vania Ananieva - Secretary of the Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. Representatives of the Labour office have presented available positions for workers with different professional qualifications and from diverse economic sectors.
The job seekers were from various age and ethnic groups and among them there were also many uneducated people.
Ivan Todorov, Valeri Angelov and Mariya Asenova from Amalipe Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance were also at the event. They had the opportunity to make direct contact with representatives of the local business and leading employers in the region, as well as with other labour market stakeholders.
